Blues festival of Coeur d’Alene is here!
It’s here! It’s here! What, you ask? The annual Coeur d’Alene Blues Festival, hosted by our own Coeur d’Alene Resort! This year marks the eighth year of the festival. And interestingly, it has been the winner of the title of “best blues festival” two years in a row. This prestigious award is given out by the Inland Empire Blues Society.
What’s going on?
The festival starts Friday, March 31, and runs through Sunday, April 2. This year’s headliner will be Laith Al-Saadi, a finalist on the popular television program, “The Voice”. He and his band will be performing in the big room at 8:30 PM. Mr. Al-Saadi has worked with blues greats Taj Mahal, Greg Allman, and B.B. King, to name a few only. Most noteworthy, Laith Al-Saadi was said to be “a power performer who is so legitimate and memorable” by Entertainment Weekly magazine. And, that’s not all! The schedule is just packed with blues music and even a “Blues Cruise” or two! We are linking to the schedule published by the resort for all the information you will need abut accommodations, tickets, and entertainment.
Yes, and it’s a big deal! There will be lots of great bands and blues music starting on Friday at 3:30 PM and continuing until Sunday, at 1:00 PM. Therefore, if you love the blues and want a weekend to remember, you need to look into this!
What about a” Blues Cruise”?
Furthermore, the resort is offering lake cruise options for an even better way to enjoy some great music. Each day, bands will be playing on two boats tied together. In conclusion, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Just think, great music and a trip on Lake Coeur d’Alene! Sound good?
